Born - (15 (I).V.1887 Romanovskaya stanitsa of the don region - ?), artist, teacher, corresponding member of state historical Museum (1935) Graduated from high school in St. Petersburg, studied at the Moscow school of painting, sculpture and architecture. At the end received two silver medals and a diploma for the title of class artist painting. In 1903-1907 he studied in St. Petersburg Academy of arts. Since 1907 he engaged in teaching work in secondary schools, later in universities. From 1919 to 1931 he taught drawing at the Department of mathematics of the Smolensk pedagogical Institute. At the time of service was actively engaged in creative work. From 1904 – participant of exhibitions of the Academy of arts in 1912 in Smolensk and Moscow hosted the exhibition of historical paintings M.; 1918 – participant of exhibitions of the Smolensk society of artists. M. was an employee of the Smolensk Museum.
