Biography and information

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Associate Professor.

Honored artist of the RSFSR (1980), honored worker of arts of RSFSR (1986), member of the Union of artists of the USSR (1957), member of the Central Council of the all-Union art lottery.

In 1953 he graduated from MGHI them. V. I. Surikov, he studied at DK Mochalskogo. A veteran of WWII. Exhibiting since 1953, he participated in all-Union art exhibition (1955). 1979 – personal exhibition in Moscow. His works the artist dedicated to historical-revolutionary themes and the image of a contemporary. The result of creative trips to Altai, Kazakhstan, Burma, Italy was the pictures: "Wedding on virgin soil" (1957), "Clinica" (1973), "At the well. Women of Burma" (1976), "virgin" (1982), a cycle of works "In Italy" (1976 — 1982). He taught at the Moscow state art Institute im. V. I. Surikov.

Has diplomas of arts of the USSR, artists ' Union of Russia, Moscow Union of artists of the RSFSR.

Honored artist of the RSFSR. The student of Academy of arts of the USSR, the Union of Artists of the RSFSR, Moscow Union of Artists.

In 1938 he entered the Moscow art school of memory of 1905, where he studied with V. N. Baksheeva.

During the great Patriotic war, fought in the 2nd Ukrainian front, was a gunner, a commander of anti-aircraft batteries. He was awarded orders and medals: Order of the Patriotic war II degree, medals "For military merit", "For valiant labor", etc.

In 1953 graduated from the Moscow State Institute. VI Surikov in the Studio of Professor DK Mochalskogo. For a long time headed the Department of drawing MGHI them. V. I. Surikov, Professor.
