Born in 1967, Graduated from Moscow State Academic Institute. V. I. Surikov, trained at the art Institute Pratt in new York. His works are in major Museum collections in Russia and abroad. For example, a six-meter canvas "the Triumph of the Russian Fleet" opens the exposition of the Central Museum of Armed forces of Russia, and a portrait of the famous singer Irina Arkhipova is in the collection of the State Tretyakov gallery. V. I. Nesterenko made a great contribution to the restoration of the artistic decoration of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. His hands belong to monumental painting "Resurrection of Christ", "St. The Apostle and Evangelist Matthew", "Epiphany", "Entry into Jerusalem" cycle of Marian icons, five paintings on gospel subjects for the Patriarchal Refectory and shroud. The artist's works can be seen in the Museum of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. Under the leadership and personal participation of V. I. Nesterenko created a new mural in the Dormition Cathedral in Dmitrov and the iconostasis in the Church of the Millennium of the baptism of Rus in Tsaritsyno. Vasily Nesterenko is the author of several solo exhibitions, including exhibitions at the Russian Academy of arts, in the Kremlin, in state exhibition hall "New Manege", in the Museum of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, as well as numerous exhibitions in Europe and the United States.
