Evseevich Nikolaev

Was born in 1943. in Moscow.

Involved in art since 1968. In 1976-77g. organized apartment exhibitions with the participation of Dmitry Prigov, Boris Orlov, R. Lebedev, Igor Shelkovsky, F. Semenov-Amur, etc. Gerlovina

1990. alternately lives in Berlin and Moscow.

In his artistic career he did a spontaneous way from tachisme (late 70s) to abstract calligraphy.

This path noted numerous exhibitions in galleries and museums in Russia, France, Germany, Italy and other countries. For their projects Victor Nikolaev used and sometimes synthesizes photography, video and painting.

He leads the art-dialogues with Warhol, Kabakov, Cristo, Infante; collaborates with Sergei Letov, Iraida Yusupova, Alexander Pushkin...

Recent projects Viktor Nikolayev associated with abstract calligraphic cursive on paper and television.
