Painter, teacher. One of the founders of the Kyrgyz painting.

Born in 1891 in the city of Vologda. Studied at Tashkent school of art (1919-1921) by A. N. Volkov and A. V. Isupov. In Kyrgyzstan since 1921. In 1921 he established an art Studio.

He died in 1934 during an expedition to Issyk-Kul.

Creative heritage of the artist is one of the most interesting chapters in the formative years of Kyrgyz painting. Paintings Obraztsova is characterized by unusual composition, bright decorative colors, combining great talent of the painter and some naivety as to the colors ("the Return of the red Army", "Conspiracy", "Rebel", "the Woman at the Yurt" a", "a Girl denganku" - all 1931-1932).

In the Museum are all preserved (17) the works of this original artist.
