Tigranovich Ovasapov

Born in 1938 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow secondary art school, State art Institute. V. I. Surikov, and then postgraduate studies at the same Institute for a workshop poster... Ponomareva. Since 1970, teaches at the faculty of graphics in the Studio of graphic art and poster. Currently Professor at the faculty of graphics.

In the 1970s I. T. Ovasapov performed several series of posters for the army, youth, nature, and ecology. They all received wide recognition and was awarded prizes. Parallel to the poster, the artist was engaged in painting, working in portrait and landscape.

In his works the artist was awarded the silver medal of the Academy of arts, he was awarded the prize of International Biennale for a series of posters.

I. T. Ovasapov are in the museums of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and in private collections in many countries of the world.

He graduated from the workshop of the poster of the Moscow state art Institute. V. I. Surikov (1965). Studied at N. A. Ponomarev, M. O. Savostyuka, B. A. Uspensky. Working mainly in the socio-political poster (publishing house "Poster", "poster"). The participant of Republican, all-Union, foreign art exhibitions.

1970 Awarded the silver medal of the USSR Academy of arts for the series of posters "We ours, we will build a new world" (together with Yu. Ivanov and L. Cancer).

1970 member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Major works: "For the peaceful sky!" (1967), a series of "we have ours, We will build a new world!" (1969), "glory to the working class — the Builder of communism" (1976), "Labor semester perfectly!" (1977), "Build quickly, economically, efficiently!" (1977), "1979. International year of the child" (1978), "Heroes of the Small earth's glory!" (1979), "Labor semester perfectly" (1979), "From lake Baikal to the Amur, we will lay a highway!" (1979).
