Student of the Moscow Art class. In 1839 the Academy of Arts, the title of free artist of portrait painting for the painting "Girl with Guadalmina", "Prometheus" and "the old Man"; in 1842 - 2 silver medal for the painting "Healing rasslablenno". (Kondakov)
