Painter. In 1977-1983 he studied in mgahi. V. I. Surikov, L. V. Shepelev and S. N. Shil'nikov, in the workshop TT Salakhova, then there in 1985-1987 he continued his education as an Intern.
1987-1989 taught in the workshop TT Salakhova, 2001-present senior lecturer Institute. V. I. Surikov. Since 2000, General Director of disinforma "Osnova" in Moscow. From 1998 to 2000-ies. worked on the murals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
His major works: the series "the Story of a tree", "Branch III" (1991-1992), the series "History of one yard", "the summer I" (1992-1993), "the Tea shop on Myasnitskaya street" (1994), a series of "China town", "the Old yard" (1994), "Street Soljanka" (1995), "the Pink house" (1995), a series of "Old Moscow", "Music shop on Neglinnaya" (1995).
Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of ARTS (2002). Member of the PAX (2007). Since 1984 member of Moscow Union of artists.
