Andreevich Pavlov

(1893-1942) Painter and graphic artist. In 1917-22 he studied at the school. The study with D. Kardovsky, K. Petrov-Vodkin, V. Shuhaeva. From 1918 participant of exhibitions. Member of the ia "Community of artists" (1922-27), the group "16" (1923-24), one of the founders of the Leningrad. branch AHRR-AChRs (1924). From 1932 he taught at the Repin Institute of arts in. Landscapes (including "Vasileostrovskaya landscape", 1923; "Winter", 1923; "Winter landscape", 1924; "Industrial landscape", 1925; "the Winter landscape. On the edge", 1926), as well as still lifes, portraits, etc. Died during the siege.

Being an employee of the art-engraving Department of the Petrograd paper mill of Goznak, attended school of the arts encouragement Society.

On leaving school in 1917 – 1922 he studied at the Academy of fine arts D. N. Kardovsky And V. I. Shukhaev, K. I. Petrov-Vodkin, D. I. Mitrokhin, V. M. Konashevich.

In 1922 – 1927 was a member of the "Community of artists", was one of the founding members of the Leningrad branch AHRR – AChRs (1924).

From 1929 he taught at the Institute, since 1932 – in VKhUTEMAS. Participant of exhibitions "10 years of the red army", "15 years of RKKA", AHR, "Sixteen", AOA and others.

Pavlov's works are in the Tretyakov gallery, Russian Museum and in other collections.
