Biography and information

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Born in 1932 in Moscow. In 1952 he graduated mshsh. In 1958 he graduated from Moscow GOV't. khudozh. Institute. V. I. Surikov. Since 1956, participation in exhibitions. The accession to the USDA in 1961, the Basic genre - painting. Paintings are in the Tretyakov gallery, GRM, GMP, museums of Belarus, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Poland, Bulgaria and in private collections in many countries.

He was awarded the Silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts. The student of Academy of Arts of the USSR. Laureate of Ministry of culture of the USSR and Union of artists of the USSR. Winner of the Prize. P. p. Konchalovsky TIMSH (Association of artists of the Moscow Union of artists).

In 1958 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of im. V. I. Surikov in the workshop of P. P. Sokolov-Skal (thesis "the Stadium").

In 1962 he joined the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Landmark creative work of Yuri Pavlov is the artwork "Equestrian school" (1971), the work of Pushkin's cycle "there is No sadder story in the world" (1983).

Personal exhibitions of the artist held in Moscow (1994, 1995, 1999).
