Schedule. In 1965-1971 he studied at the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture. I. E. Repin at the faculty of graphics.

In 1965 the editorial staff of the magazine "Neva". Since 1984 he teaches lithography at the graphic Department of the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture. I. E. Repin. Since 1987 – associate Professor of the Department of graphics. Since 2002 – head of the graphics Department, head of personal workshop. The founder of the publishing house "Rare book from St. Petersburg" (1991).

The main works: "still life" (1973), "a Watch and a mechanical bird" (1974), "Boy" (1975), "In the field" (1979), "Lovers" (1980), "Drawings from nature", made on lithographic stones and printed under the supervision of the author, "Sappho. Ten poems (1992)", "Anacreon. Twelve poems" (1994), "Plato. The ten poems" (1996), "Doll" (1997), a series of "Figure" (2003).

Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of ARTS (2001). A member of the artists Union of the USSR (1973). Honored artist of the Russian Federation (1999).
