Born in Sergiev Posad in a family of local artisans. Art education in the icon-painting school at the Lavra and the Moscow school of painting, sculpture and architecture.

Born in Sergiev Posad. One of the best students of K. Korovin and S. Malyutin. Member of the Association of traveling art exhibitions. Participant of numerous exhibitions, including "society of artists of the Moscow school", society "Cry" (1923-24), "Society. I. E. Repina" (1929), society "Fire-Color" (1929), "Society of Moscow artists" (1920-1930). The artist liked to portray the views of Moscow and its environs, tenderly transferring to the canvas the beauty of his native city and of the Russian nature. Works of the artist are in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad. Mention of the S. I.
