Biography and information
A landscape painter, people's artist of Russia (2006). From 1978 to 1983, and arts editor of the weekly newspaper "Week" (Annex to the newspaper "Izvestia"), c 1983 for 1986 - the chief artist of the magazine "Student Meridian". Illustrated more than 20 books, author of the series "Temples of Russia", a member of several Himalayan expeditions of Russian artists. Popova works are in museums and private collections from more than 30 countries. He was born and started painting in the city of Michurinsk.
