Potapov, Yuriy, born in 1965, Nefteyugansk, an outstanding contemporary artist, curator and one of the founders of the creative Association "Art-group "SNEG", entered the history of modern art by the early 90-ies of the cultural project "Journey home" museums of Russia. The organizers of this project Yuriy Potapov and Oleg Nikolaenko contemporaries called "the Wanderers of the 90s", as they are in a difficult time for Russia, returned the interest to the exhibition activities of Russian museums.
Currently, the "Art-group "SNEG" implements geopolitical projects in the arts and actively contributes to the consolidation of the artistic forces in art.
Yuri Potapov, being one of the most authoritative Russian experts in contemporary art, continues active creative work in an amazing manner.
