Anatolyevich Potemkin

Born in Shandong in 1958, he Studied at the painting Department in the Stavropol art school (1976-1978), he graduated the Department of artistic metal processing, AHPU (1984). Painter. Member of the CX (1993), a member of the Association "the sun square" (1996). Participant of city, regional, Moscow, Republican, all-Union and international exhibitions. Works are in the Museum-reserve "Abramtsevo", the Art Museum of Cherepovets, Volgograd Museum of fine arts, in museums, galleries and private collections in Russia and abroad.

The artist was born 13 December 1958, in the city of Khotkovo (Moscow region);

1976-1978 studied at the Stavropol regional art College. Workshop honored artist of the USSR Pyotr Gorban;

1978-1981 he served in the Soviet Navy;

1981-1984 studied at the Abramtsevo art-industrial school im. V. M. Vasnetsov;

Since 1985 he participated in exhibitions of the MOOSKH, all-Union, Russian and foreign exhibitions;

1989-1993 trip with the Junior groups in the house of creativity of a Hot key, Senezh, Host.

In 1990, at the world exhibition in Tokyo (Japan) paintings by Vladimir Potemkin, which was exhibited in the same room with such great artists as Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, Marc Chagall and Vincent van Gogh, has been noted by critics from many countries.

In 1993 he became a member of the Union of artists of Russia and International art Fund.

Solo exhibitions were held in Moscow, Kostroma, Museum Abramtsevo, Berlin and many times in Luxembourg.

In 2003 at the Moscow international exhibition "ARTS-2003", held in Sokolniki Park, was awarded a diploma.

In the same year for the exhibition "Moscow today" (Berlin), awarded a diploma.

The work of Vladimir Potemkin acquired a number of local museums abramtseva, Volgograd, Vologda, Krasnodar, Severomorsk, Russia. Of the more than 600 canvases of the painter half of the paintings are in galleries, museums and private collections in ten countries.
