1951, Narofominsk - 1995 . A self-taught artist. Stylistically creativity Purygina can be attributed to the art of the primitive, originating in the Russian lubok. The artist has created his own mythological system with fantastic characters and no less mysterious author's comments. The author's style Purygina has spawned many imitators. The artist's works were exhibited at Sotheby's in Moscow in 1988. In the United States in the 1980s has held three exhibitions Purygina. His works are kept in Eduard Nakhamkin Fine Arts Gallery, new York, USA; meeting Yuri traysmana, United States, as well as in several private and public collections in France, Germany, Italy and other countries.
