Painter. He graduated from the Repin Institute of arts in (1950), a pupil of R. Frentz and A. Gerasimov. He lived in Leningrad. Participant of exhibitions from 1948. 1986 Professor of the Repin Institute of arts in. Portraits, paintings, landscapes.

Born in 1921 in Morshansk Tambov province.

He graduated from the Repin Institute of arts in them. Ie Repin (1950), workshop of R. R. Frentz. Studied at I. P. Stepashkin, M. I. Avilov, Y. M. Neprintsev. Worked in the creative workshop of A. Gerasimov.

Participant of exhibitions since 1951.

Member of the Leningrad Union of artists since 1950.

Wrote the genre and thematic paintings, compositions on historical and revolutionary themes, portraits, landscapes, sketches from nature. Manner features wide free writing, interest in the complex angles. Fluent pattern. Discreet color is based on the skilful transfer of rich hues and warm and cool tones.

The works are in: Museum of History of the city, in many regional museums and in private collections in Russia and abroad.
