Born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). In 1994 he graduated from State academic Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture (b. Academy of fine arts), in parallel studied at the private Studio of the artist, Ivan Gurin. Since 1994 - member of the St. Petersburg Union of artists. Pushitskii has repeatedly received grants for creative work (USA) and has created public projects for different countries (Russia, India, Denmark, etc.). He participated in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Moscow Biennale of contemporary art (2005, 2007, 2009), the Baltic Biennale (2006), the number of high-profile international exhibitions. The author of personal exhibitions in the State Russian Museum (2002) and the State Hermitage Museum (2006). His works are in the collections of the State Russian Museum, State contemporary art centre, museums of Kaliningrad and Novosibirsk, Kolding Art Institute (Kolding, Denmark), Kala Art Institute (San Francisco, USA), in private museums of contemporary art in Austria, Denmark, Russia and in many private and corporate collections around the world.
