Biography and information

1896 was born in Moscow.

1913 Sunday classes at the Stroganov school.

1915 school of F. I. Rerberg.

1916 the Studio of Ilya Mashkov.

Familiarity with V. Mayakovsky.

1917 the fourth class of the Moscow school of painting, sculpture and architecture.

1919-22 "Windows of GROWTH" - work together with V. Mayakovsky, V. Cheremnykh, A. Nuremberg, A. Levin, and others.

1928 together with the team of E. Lissitzky - design and design International exhibition of printing in Cologne.

1930 main artist of the Soviet division of the International aviation exhibition in Berlin.

1932 the artist of the research Department of the International exhibition of furs in Leipzig.

1937 the artist of the Department of culture at the International exhibition in Paris (awarded the Grand Prix of the exhibition).

1938 artist of the education Department of the Soviet pavilion in new York.

1939 artist design unit of the Main pavilion VSHV in Moscow.

1948 illustrations for the book Bazhov "Zhivinka in", for which V. the Protocol described by Roskin subjected to sharp criticism and charges of "formalism".

1955-56 chief designer of the pavilion "Atomic Energy" ENEA.

1967 Chairman of the arts Council of decorative design and decorative art. (In the same year removed from office for supporting Rabin.)

He died in Moscow in 1984.

2002 - Personal exhibition in gallery "LES OREADES" in the Moscow Art Salon.
