Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

People's Artist Of Russia. The Student Of The Russian Academy Of Arts.

In 1960 he graduated from the Kazan art school. In 1965-1971 he studied at the Moscow State Art Institute. VI Surikov in the Studio DK Mochalskogo (thesis "In the Volga steppes").

In 1971 he was accepted into the Studio of military artists of M. B. Grekov, working in which created such well-known in the Soviet Union works as "Soldier morning" (1972), "Youth of the fathers" (1974), "Among the family" (1975), "Serve the Homeland, son!" (1982).

In 1981-1982 and 1983-1984 took a creative trip of the artist in Algeria and Afghanistan,

on the basis of which was created a series of "Performing international duty" (awarded the title of Honored artist of the RSFSR").

Solo exhibition was held in 1988 in Moscow.

Works are in major art museums of the former USSR.

The work came from the artist's heirs.
