Biography and information

Born and raised in the village of Sizovo in the Komi-Permyak National District. Served in the army from the age of 17. Fought in the air force. After graduating from the military academy, he served as a mechanical engineer. After demobilizing in 1978 with the rank of colonel, he became a forester in a forest park near Moscow. Since 1980 he began painting, and for five years he consulted at ZNUI. Sizov's favorite subjects are village life and architectural monuments.
