Honored artist of Russia. Born in Mytischi, Moscow region. From 1939 to 1941 he studied at the Moscow secondary art school named after V. I. Surikov. The participant of war with Japan and the great Patriotic Войны1941 – 1945 1963 – member of the artists Union of the USSR. Exhibitions: Prague, Luxembourg, Germany. Solo exhibitions: Mytischi, Moscow (exhibition hall of Moscow Union of artists), Moscow. V. A. Hopping are stored in the Museum-estate "Yasnaya Polyana", the Serpukhov art gallery, the gallery Bernard Zamaron in Luxembourg, in private collections in Russia, Germany, Italy, Canada, USA, France.
