Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Born in 1943 in Novosibirsk region. In 1964 he graduated from the art school named after Kalinin in Moscow. Studied at the Stroganov University 1964 – 1968 1968 – 1969 he graduated from the Higher courses of the Central television with a diploma of the artist-producer (painting under the guidance of B. Birger and V. Veisberg).

A huge role in the creative consciousness of Natalia Sokolova played a group of "9" - the so-called "sixties": N. Andronov, Mikhail Ivanov, Boris Birger, P. Nikonov, etc.

Actively participates in exhibitions since 1966 (more than 70 exhibitions in Russia and abroad). Since 1974 a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. Participated in the trail. exhibitions:

1974 – "self-Portrait in Russian art XVIII – XX centuries" in the Russian Museum and the Tretyakov gallery.

1976 – "Youth Of Russia"

1977 "60 years of Soviet power"

1978 – "Young Guard Of The Soviet Country"

1979 – international scenic plein air in Bulgaria (Kazalnik)

1981 – "Group of five" on a Treadmill

1980 – "Group three" in the House of Architect in Moscow

1983 – joint exhibition with V. Sokolov in the House of Friendship in Moscow

Participated in the traditional spring and autumn exhibitions of Moscow Union of artists-and from 1966 to 1990

1989 – "INTERART", Poznan, Poland – international fair

1990 – ORIENT Japan

1990 Auction "CATALONIA" in Barcelona Spain

1990 – exhibition in Munich, Aachen (Germany)

1990 – "Artbase" Switzerland – international fair

1997 – Exhibition of the family Sokolov (Vadim, Elena, Peter) in the Russian center of culture in Warsaw (Poland)

1998 – Exhibition of the family Sokolov in the Russian culture centre in gdańsk (Poland)

From 1990 -2009, the Exhibition of the family Sokolov in Germany: Munich, Aachen, Idar-Oberstein, etc.

Works are kept in museums of Russia and abroad: Krasnoyarsk, Novokuznetsk, Alupka, Nukus, Kazalnik and Stara Zagora (Bulgaria) etc. as well As in private collections in Yugoslavia, Germany, USA, Japan, Spain, Belgium, Holland and Poland.
