He was born in 1934 in Moscow region Graduated from the Ryazan art College, Moscow state art Institute. Surikova. Member Of The Union Of Artists Of Russia. Professor state art Institute. V. Surikov. Academician of the Petrovskaya Academy of Sciences and arts (Saint-Petersburg). Since 1949, the artist has participated in more than 200 exhibitions, including 15 personal. The artist's works are in the collections of over 20 museums of Russia.

He was born in 1934 in the village of Nizhneye khoroshovo near Kolomna. He graduated from the Ryazan art school, then Moscow state art Institute. Surikova. He later taught at the same Institute for many years.

The result of numerous trips to Kaluga region was the creation of a cycle of works depicting Orthodox churches and monasteries rising in recent years: pafnutiev-Borovsky, Chernoostrov-

sky, the Tikhonov and optin desert, blending harmoniously with the landscape.

I. A. Soldatenkov wrote a series of paintings, reflecting the past of the city of Maloyaroslavets, recently celebrated its 600th anniversary. With 1949 he took part in more than 200 exhibitions, 15 of

which personal. The artist's paintings were shown in more than 40

States. I. A. Soldatenkov not only an artist but also an active gatherer, organizer and cultural activist, serving my small home.

In 1999 he created the Cultural Foundation of the I. A. Soldatenkov. Founded by him. Borovsky the art gallery and Maloyaroslavets Museum and exhibition center that bear his name, the artist gave more than 13 thousand works – a collection that he collected most of his life.

The work of I. A. Soldatenkov was awarded the silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts, diplomas and medals of the Russian Academy of literature.

His works are in the gallery Borovsky, Maloyaroslavets Museum and exhibition center. His works are in private collections in Russia and in countries near and far abroad.
