Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
Born in Nizhny Novgorod. In 1922-1925 he studied at the Nizhny Novgorod art College. In 1926-1930 – at the VKhUTEMAS. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Participant of all-Union, all-Russian, zonal and foreign exhibitions. Created mainly genre paintings, worked in the Caucasus, in the Crimea, created a lot of amazing landscapes. In between 1939 and 1953 he taught at the Moscow secondary Art school.
