Dmitrievich Stepanov

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

He was born in 1928. in Moscow. In 1951. he graduated from the Moscow art-industrial College named after Kalinin. With 1955. regularly participates in exhibitions. Since 1963 member of the Union of artists of the USSR. In 60-e years and makes several trips to the North, in which is born a great series written nature of Northern landscapes. In the 70-ies Stepanov devotes himself to portraiture and genre painting. Since the late 80-ies is actively involved in the restoration of Orthodox churches in Russia and CIS. Completed murals adorn several churches in the Moscow region, Sevastopol, Mordovia, Novosibirsk, and Karaganda.

Works are in museums and private collections in Russia, USA, UK, Italy, Greece and other countries.
