He graduated from the Yaroslavl art school (1976). Studied with A. A. Churin, L. A. patova, E. V. Smagina.

Graduated MGHI them. VI Surikov in the Studio of Professor V. G. Tsyplakov (1983).

Since 1980 participant of group, national and international art exhibitions.

Personal exhibition of paintings was held in Moscow (1997, 2006), Vologda (1994, 1996, 1997), Cherepovets (1994).

Works are kept in the Vologda regional picture gallery, Vologda state historical-architectural and art Museum-reserve, the Cherepovets Museum Association, the Museum Association of Totma, Vytegra local lore Museum, PressCom Museum-reserve, gallery Art prima, in private collections in Russia and abroad.

Born in Cherepovets. Studied at Yaroslavl art College (1972-1976), A. A. Churin, L. A. patova, E. V. Smagina Moscow state art Institute. V. I. Surikov (1978-1983) with V. G. Tsyplakov, V. N. Zabelin, S. I. Chirkov. Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1985, member of the creative Association of artists-realists "Moskvorechie" since 1987.

Participant of art exhibitions since 1980. The artist's works are exhibited at the all-Russian, interregional, regional, international exhibitions. Personal exhibition of paintings was held in Moscow (1997), Vologda (1994, 1996, 1997), Cherepovets (1994).

Lives and works in Vologda since 1983. The works are in Vologda regional art gallery. Vologda state historical-architectural and art Museum-reserve, the Cherepovets Museum Association, the Museum Association of Totma, Vytegra local lore Museum, PressCom Museum-reserve, in private collections in Russia and abroad.

The artist works in oil painting in the genres of landscape, interior. Major works: "Spring in town" (1990), "the Vologda Kremlin in the night." (1990), "spring Again" (1994), "On the shore" (1993), "Spring in Vologda. The high water" (1988), "Vologda Kremlin" (1997), "Vologda"(1999), "house of Joseph 3олотого" (1999).
