Born in the village of Uspenka Olkhovsky district, Volgograd region.

In 1939 he graduated from the Stalingrad art College.

Participated in the great Patriotic war from July 2, 1941. Commanded the Department of communications battery 544 artillery regiment. He continued to serve in the 117th artillery brigades RVGK large capacity as commander of the Department of intelligence headquarters battery in the rank of Sergeant. Defended Moscow, participated in the battles of Vyazma, in the battle of Stalingrad. Liberated Smolensk, Minsk, was fighting with Lithuania, Prussia, participated in the storming of Koenigsberg.

In the postwar years - artist, member of Union of artists of the USSR. He was twice elected Board Chairman of the Volgograd branch of the Union of artists. He was elected Deputy of the city Council. Awarded the order of Patriotic war I degree, red Star and medals "For courage", "For military merit", "For defense of Moscow", "For capture of Koenigsberg" and others. Lives in Volgograd.
