Biography and information

Born November 24, 1979 in Leningrad. In 1999, after graduating from Art College named after Roerich entered the Institute of Decorative and Applied Art, where he had the good fortune to study in the Studio of Oleg Yakhnin.

Leonid degree project was a series of illustrations to Shakespeare's tragedy “King Lear”.

Graduated with distinction from the Institute in 2002, Leonid began to work as Illustrator and freelance artist, participate in art performances and exhibitions of contemporary art.

He is known not only for its stunning etchings, but as a master of an exclusive bookplate for the famous collectors around the world, has made a lot of work, rightly took the first places in numerous Biennale of ex-libris.

The works by Leonid are in the Public library and the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, the Boston Public Library, the State Museum of Vologda, Museum of Modern Graphics in St-Niklaas, in Belgium and in private collections in Europe, Japan, China, Australia and the USA.
