Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. (b. 1936, Blagoveshchensk). Honored artist of Russia. In 2005 was awarded the Gold medal of the Academy of Arts. He studied at the Moscow textile Institute, in MGHI them. V. I. Surikov, V. V. Pochitalova. Participant of exhibitions and a member of the Union of Artists since 1964, a Permanent participant of Moscow, Republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. His personal exhibitions took place in 1987 in the Central house of artists and in 1997 at the Academy of fine Arts. Author of thematic paintings, portraits, landscapes and still lifes. Works of the artist are in the Tretyakov gallery, the Russian Museum, the Museum of modern art Russian Academy of arts, in the collections of over 50 museums in Russia and CIS countries, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
