Honored hood. Of the RSFSR (1969). A member of the artists Union of the USSR (1933).

In 1908-1911 he studied in the icon painting workshop Yelabuga, a year after I. I. Mashkov in Moscow. In 1913 he enrolled at the Kazan art school, graduated in 1917. In 1919 he moved to Tomsk, where he lived and worked until 1930. In 1930 he moved to Novosibirsk. In 1936 and 1956 he participated in the design of the pavilion "Siberia" at the all-Union selichoh the exhibition. Works are in novosib. local historian. the Museum, novosib. paintings. gallery.
