Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Graphic artist, book Illustrator, fluent in practically all graphic techniques.

He studied at MUHU in memory of 1905 under the leadership of V. A. Shestakov (1947). He continued his education in the Studio art books MGHI them. V. I. Surikov, where he studied with M. M. Cheremnykh, and V. A. Degtyarev.

Became widely known through illustrations for children's books "Silver hoof" P. Bazhov, "the Horse" by L. Kvitko, to the fairy tale "the snow maiden", as well as stories by A. Chekhov and M. Gorky. Participated in more than seventy Russian and foreign exhibitions.
