He worked as a teacher of drawing and painting, senior art editor of the Chuvash book publishing house, lecturer, Department of theory and history of arts, Professor of art–graphic faculty of the Chuvash state pedagogical Institute, Chairman of the Board of the Union of artists of Chuvashia.
