Petrovich Fedosov

Painter. Was born in Moscow. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR (1964), laureate of the State Prize of Russia to them. I. E. Repin (1991). In 1962 he graduated from MGHI them. VI Surikov in the Studio of Professor DK Mochalskogo. Thesis Nikita Fedosov "On the Dvina" is stored in the collection of the Moscow state. V. I. Surikov as an example of craftsmanship of the highest level. In 1964, Fedosov was adopted in the Creative Workshops of the USSR Academy of Arts, the head of which was the B. V. Ioganson. In the period from 1962 to 1992 his works were regularly exhibited at the Metropolitan, national, Union and international exhibitions. In 2000 in the Central house of artists in Moscow hosted the personal exhibition Fedosova, dedicated to his memory.

Works of the artist are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, Tver art Gallery, the Tula Art Museum.

In 1962 he graduated from Moscow State Art Institute. VI Surikov in the Studio of Professor DK Mochalskogo. Thesis Nikita Fedosov "On the Dvina" is still kept in the collection of the Institute as an example of craftsmanship of the highest level. When the picture was carried into the hall for protection, the audience stood and continued standing ovation.

It will take more than a decade before in Russia will be a painter with equal force talent Nikita Fedosov. He became a legend of Russian realistic painting of the second half of the twentieth century. His works place his name in a series of great Russian landscape painters Isaac Levitan, Alexei Savrasov, Stanislav Zhukovsky.

In 2000 and 2006 in the Central house of artists in Moscow hosted the personal exhibition of memory of Nikita Fedosov.

Works are in State Tretyakov Gallery, Tver art Gallery, the Tula and Serpukhov art museums.
