He graduated from the Vitebsk art.-practical in-t (1922) and Leningrad. in-t CET. engineers (LEAGUE) (1929). Pupil of K. Malevich and L. Lissitzky Vitebsk UNOVIS in the beginning of its activity one of the brightest representatives of constructivism. Worked in architect. workshops in Leningrad, 1934 hands. a workshop of the Lenproject Institute. From 1931 he taught at the LEAGUE LISI. The author projects a number of apartment societies. of buildings in Leningrad, prom. objects in different parts of the country.
