From 1942 to 1946 he was artistic Director of the Central Studio of fine arts of the trade unions, until its closure in 1948 remained a teacher of drawing and painting.

Initial education in the Moscow Studio V. Meshkov, P. Kelin, K. Yuon, he studied at the state Free art studios of A. Arkhipov, in 1924 graduated from the graphic and pictorial faculties of the VKhUTEMAS.

Taught visual arts to students of secondary schools, trade schools, builders, students of the Moscow school of art memory of 1905 and students of the Central school of industrial art, ... trade unions and CDSA, theater artists and designers.
