Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
From 1941 to 1945 he fought in the Soviet Army, including in parts of the Leningrad front on Nevsky patch. The last years of his life he worked in the Podolsk regional workshop of the art Fund in the genre of historical painting. The Museum-diorama kept his front and post-war sketches.
