Born in 1928 in the Ryazan region. In 1935 he moved to Ufa. I graduated from the Ufa College of arts. Then moved to Moscow, where he graduated from mgahi. Surikov (workshop of V. Tsyplakov. Soon returned to Ufa and began teaching at the Ufa College of arts. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. From 1988 to 1998 he lived and worked in Moscow.
