In 1983 he was awarded the medal "For construction of BAM". In the same year, created a painted diptych "Memory" (introductory hall of the memorial complex "Brest fortress-hero") and executed the project of reconstruction of the memorial complex "Brest fortress-hero". Now Vyacheslav Pavlovich Cebotari is the rector of the Academy founded by him "Sberkarta Vyacheslav Chebotar", which has established itself as one of the most successful and progressive art schools of St. Petersburg.
