In 1981 he graduated from Moscow secondary art school at the Moscow State Art Institute. V. I. Surikov.
In 1981-1987 he studied at the same Institute in the workshop TT Salakhova (thesis "Spring").
In 1989 he joined the Union of Artists of the USSR. Landmark works of the artist are paintings "portrait of a girl" (1988), "Aug. Twilight. Panfilovo" (1989).
Works are in the collection of Panfilov rural art gallery (Vladimir region), in private collections in Russia and abroad.
