Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

He studied at the Moscow regional art school of memory of 1905 in the Studio of P. I. Petrovichev in 1939 - 1941 In 1943 he entered the all-Union state Institute of cinematography, where his teachers were F. S. Bogorodsky and K. M. Morozov, graduating 1945.

Honored artist of the RSFSR (1979), member of the Union of artists of the USSR (1950), member of the Moscow Association of artists (1949). Since 1952 the party-Union, Republican and international exhibitions, in 1972, in Moscow held a personal exhibition of the artist. In 1977 he received the diploma of the Council of Ministers of the RSFSR. In 1987 awarded the Diploma of the USSR Academy of arts "For his contribution to the art". The lyrical nature of the talent of the painter determined the adequate choice of the landscape genre, which to the greatest extent possible to Express the attitude of the author. Emotional range of his landscapes wide from lightning voltage to an enlightened, peaceful lyrics.
