Dmitrievich Churakov

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Laureate of Lenin Komsomol prize of the Chuvash ASSR them. M. Sespel', honored artist of the Chuvash Republic.

Born in the city of Podolsk, Moscow region.

In 1964 and lives in Cheboksary. Worked as a teacher of the art–graphic faculty of them. I. Yakovlev. The participant of Republican, all-Union, national, regional and other exhibitions. Personal exhibitions are organized in Cheboksary in 1968, 1987, 1997 the First artists of the Republic awarded the title of laureate of the young Communist League of Chuvashia them. M. Sespel'.

In the artist plays a significant lyrical landscape. Great success had fallen to the share of his genre paintings : "Textile workers", "haymaking", "Weekdays 20 years" "We are the Smiths". Rich in color and expressive portrait art: "Portrait of doctor Zheleznova", "Portrait of Nina of Glazova", "Logger A. Drahomaretskiy," a series of portraits of women, participants of the great Patriotic war and labor heroes.
