Shalom A. Schwartz (1929-1995) — Russian artist.

Belonged to the so-called "arefevsky circle" — a group of Leningrad nonconformist artists abroad 1950-60-ies., the informal leader of which was Alexander Arefiev. He graduated from the secondary art school at the Leningrad Academy of arts, the Academy was not adopted, worked as a house painter, forwarder, etc.

The paintings characterizes the expressive manner in the graph of a marked interest in the study of form.
