He graduated in 1957 Art school (Rostov-on-don). From 1957 to 1983 he lived and worked in the city of Shadrinsk (Kurgan region), since 1983 in the Mound. Since 1965 - member of the Union of artists of Russia. Since 1964 participates in regional, Republican and all-Union exhibitions were exhibited in Italy, France (Dunkerque, Paris), UK, in 1999 - personal exhibition in Kurgan art Museum, the museums of Shadrinsk and Dalmatovo Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk, Ekaterinburg.
