Borisovich El'konin

Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.

Painter, graphic artist, muralist, hon. thin RSFSR. He graduated from Moscow. VKHUTEIN (1930), student of K.Istomin, V.Favorsky. He lived and worked in Moscow. Member of the Society "4 art" (since 1930). He acted as thin. critic in "Lit. Gas." (1933-35). Author of paintings (series "Fishing nets", "Still lifes with samovars", "Models with candles", "Chairs"), book. and easel graphics. Made a number of paintings and mosaic panels (in collaboration with his wife N.M. Elkonina-Rosenberg).
