Description of the artwork «Winter window»

In this pastel series (a few examples - 1, 2, 3, 4) some amazing clear Eastern trail. It is in the Western European tradition for many generations of artists had taken centuries of painstaking to apply complex paint layer on the entire surface and with age only to improve its complexity. In the Eastern painting traditions, two extremely precise brushwork or three lines at the same time creating the image, light, idea and emotion. And I understand that the artist could have long, detailed and carefully write out the details, but for him and went on his huge way of life and acquired artistic experience, to be able to do it with just a few lines or one watercolor stain.

In 1999 happened rebirth artist Yablonskaya. She was 83 years old is a classic age for gaining new vision and a new truth of life. The reason was very sad: after a stroke, Tatiana Nilovna was in a wheelchair, right arm paralyzed, oil paintings of view of the required accuracy and physical strength altogether. Then she learned to draw with my left hand and took up pastels.
Six years without leaving his apartment, POAG draws the most ordinary household still lifes: apples, flowers, glasses banks and pitchers slightly side window landscape, a lot of the window fantastically a lot of light seasons that inner glow and life to the objects.

Daughter of the artist, sometimes as if accidentally put on the kitchen windowsill vases with fresh flowers and as if accidentally forgotten on the table a couple of apples or utensils. And when I heard from my mother the magic word "Paper!", used to drop everything, got paper, pastel crayons and waiting.

These were the years of pure art, no elaborate plots, no ideas and creative plans – only silent and focused dialogue with the surrounding world. "I am happy in my limited space — said Yablonsky, — I'm optimistic perception of life, especially at a time when there some kind of a streak of creativity, I saw that you can write what around, play the world happy, a world that looks on me. Nature or interior, any object suddenly as if covered with some invisible transparent poetical veil, as if to sing something inside. Some magical poetic condition will spread... and a piece of yard illuminated from within by some divine radiance. This, perhaps, is called inspiration..."
