He was born and died in Moscow. Graduated from the Moscow school of painting, sculpture and architecture. Painter and graphic artist. He painted landscapes and still lifes. IN N. Novgorod - 1922-1937. Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1933. In exhibitions participated since 1904. Participant of art exhibitions: "5th state exhibition of paintings" (Moscow, 1918-1919), 1-e and 3-e of the Association "Jack of diamonds" (Moscow, 1922-1925); 2 OMX (Moscow, 1929), artists of 4 regions of the RSFSR (Moscow, 1936). He was a member and Director of the Nizhny Novgorod art Museum (1922-1937). He was Director of the Nizhny Novgorod art College (1922-1924).
