Born in the village Shatrysche, Zhytomyr region. In 1966 he graduated from the KHI. Teachers – P. Slet, M. Khmelko, I. Shtilman. The participant of Republican and all-Union exhibitions since 1964. Taught at KHI (1966 – 1988). The member of Union of artists since 1980. Honored worker of arts of Ukraine since 1992. Laureate of the State prize them. I. Nechui-Levitsky. Author of landscapes, genre paintings and still lifes.
