Was born in Krivoy Rog. Studied at Yaroslavl art College (1976-1980). Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1991, member of international Association of artists "Sunny square".
Participant of art exhibitions since 1980. The artist's works are exhibited at the interregional, regional, and international art exhibitions. Solo exhibition of paintings and drawings was held in Moscow (1992), Vologda (1991, 1994, 1996, 1997, 1998), Cherepovets (1993, 1998), Copenhagen (Denmark) (1995), Luxembourg (1999).
Lives and works in Vologda since 1985. The works are in Vologda regional picture gallery, Cherepovets Museum Association, and in private collections in Russia and abroad.
The artist works in oil painting in the genres of landscape, still life, sujeto-themed and everyday pictures; deals with graphics in the technique of drawing with ink, watercolors, pastels. Major works: "Vendor news" (1986), "Silence" (1987), "the Comedians" (1993), "the Magician" (1992), "Death to the Minotaur" (1992), "Ancient melody" (1992), "Dream of Italy" (1990), "Sleep with your head Dali" (1991), "a Night in the Studio" (1986), "Ariadne's Thread" (1993).
