He was born in Odessa. He received his artistic education in 1900 in Odessa Art school.

1903 - Saint Petersburg. Continues his art education

1907 – emigrated to Berlin.

1908 – emigrated to Paris.

1912 - participated in exhibitions of the Salon of independent.

1920 - Participant of exhibitions of the Autumn salon in Paris.

1920 – worked as a Secretary at the Union of Russian artists in Paris, France.

1928 - Moscow. Exhibition of modern French art. Convenor of the joint with Mikhail Larionov

In 1928 he returned to Paris.

1935 - works in Moscow.

In 1937 returned to Paris.

1941 - Arrested by the German occupation authorities in Paris. Placed in a concentration camp in Compiegne.

1944 - was Released.

Died in Paris in 1971.
